Children's series that was on British TV about a boy who's in a coma but has adventures in his subconscious.

It was on years ago when I was younger but I can't remember what it was called, I think he had an accident or something and during the series is in a coma. But he's within an imagenry world within his mind and meets other people and has adventures. Or something like that anyway.
