How do I become a tournament fishermen?

ever since I was a little kid catching my first fish thats all I ever wanted to do for the rest of my life. but there's a catch to that. I need a job to help pay for gear to go fihing and a job would cut into my fishing time. I knew all of this when I was in my early teens and then decided that I did not want to grow up. but such is life and as time flew by fast i did. man tough **** too... cuz now I work my but off in construction which I do alot of overtime and I have no time to fish. so I figured I still want to follow my dream and ask around to see who may point me in the right d.
